California State Minimum Wage Increase – Time Sensitive

The schedule for employers with 25 or fewer employees:
• On January 1, 2019, the minimum wage will increase to $11.00 per hour.

The schedule for employers with 26 or more employees:
• On January 1, 2019, the minimum wage will increase to $12.00 per hour.
• Plus additional annual increases (Call for details.)
Please note: Increases to the state minimum wage result in changes to the exempt minimum salary threshold. Call us for details.
Did you also know? Certain cities have adopted a minimum wage that exceeds the California minimum wage rate. Employers that fall under such a local minimum wage ordinance are advised to review the requirements.
